Po valley, thunderstorm on the fields

Tale of the photo
I recently lived in the Thai countryside. While I was on the other side of the world, the landscapes I met reminded me of those told by my mother about the Po Valley in the 1960s: flowery fields and flooded areas for rice cultivation.
To date, the Po Valley has become, for the most part, a vast area polluted by pesticides, herbicides, exhaust gases and industries. But there are still small areas that can make you imagine what it used to be in the past.
In the last few years I have often traveled the Lodi-Bergamo route, passing through the various small town, some fields and old farmhouses. In one of these small trip I encountered one of those thunderstorms that you can not forget. So this photograph of a vast cloudy cluster that loomed over a vast flat area was born.
Today I sell this photograph in a limited edition of 10 copies, 100×67 and 60×40 cm, printed on museum quality photographic paper Hahnemuhle.
